What this means
APEC’s certified filters do cover lead, fluoride, chlorine, arsenic, mercury, chromium-6, copper, TDS (total dissolved solids) — but not PFAS. A brand can advertise that a filter “reduces” PFAS or is “tested to” a standard without the specific model being independently certified and listed — and that distinction is exactly what this site tracks.
